Tuesday : 8pm - 10pm

Tim Moon, a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter of this parish, presents an eclectic mix of folk and roots, interviews, live sessions and amiable bumbling (despite over 20 years behind the mic).

Presented by: Tim Moon

Born 1953 in the village of Shelf in the West Riding, Tim started playing music on stage at 5 years old. At the age of 12 appeared on the BBC Home Service and on leaving school in 1969 worked in computing. He played in various bands before going solo, then forming the Yorkshire Miracle in 1977. Tim did odd spots on Pennine Radio in the early 80s before being asked to present a folk programme on Festival Radio, which evolved into BCB Radio on which he continues to this day.  Every two years, Tim plays music as he walks in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance (Blackpool to Filey in 2012, Filey to Penzance in 2014 and Filey to Brighton in 2016) the next in 2018 will be Filey - Edinburgh - Cardiff - London.
